This is a 15-hour program following the Canadian Yachting Association White Sail Level 1 curriculum and conducted over a flexible set of dates. Students are taught sailing theory, seamanship, how to tie knots, a basic understanding of weather and currents, and on the last day, an introduction to racing. By the end of this course, students will be able to comfortably sail a small sailboat on their own and receive a certificate of completion for demonstrating their new skills!
