Return to Junior Sailing Program

Young children are introduced to the water and sailing in a unique setting focusing on fun and safety. Topics include lifejacket safety, and how to balance, sit, and move in a small sailboat. Small and stable Optimist dinghies are used for this course with 2 students per boat. Participants will have the chance to explore the water as they paddle and sail around in our protected marina and harbour. Additional activities include arts, crafts, and beach play.

Spring and Fall Courses 2010

Ideal for Kindergarten students who attend school classes in the morning and then sailing in the afternoon! Note there is just one course offering in the spring. More available upon request.

Spring: 7 classes held every Friday 1:00 - 4:00 pm
