Return to Junior Sailing Program

Pre-requisite: Bronze Sail level 5

Silver Sail VI students are introduced to racing and further develop advanced boat handling techniques utilizing all elements of sailing learned in Bronze Sail. Other topics include tactics and racing strategy.  By the end of the course, sailors will be able to race competitively at the local sailing level.  Students can either use their own boat or a Club 420 in this course.  Successful students will receive CYA certification.

This course runs from August 9th to August 27th.  It is highly recommend that students also participate in Commodore's Cup Race Week August 30 - September 3rd.

This course is conducted by Graeme Clendenan WVYC Sailing Director, Race Coach and NSST Regional Director.

The course will be limited to 8 registrants.
