Farr 30 Canadian National ChampionshipThe Farr 30 International One Design Class Association and the West Vancouver Yacht Club are organizing the 2011 Canadian National Championship for the International Farr 30 Class. The Farr 30 Canadian Nationals will be held August 12th through August 14, 2011. The regatta is open to any member of the International Farr 30 class and racing will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, one of the world's most beautiful sailing venues. Racing will be held on courses in Howe Sound, the Strait of Georgia and English Bay adjacent to the city of Vancouver. The racing venue is bordered by the metropolitan Vancouver skyline and the mountains of the British Columbia mainland, with views of an ultra-modern city and mountaintop glaciers. The area features many world-class amenities and is considered the "most liveable city in the world". The West Vancouver Yacht Club and the Vancouver Farr 30 Fleet extend a warm welcome to any and all out-of-area boats and crews to come race in our beautiful and exciting venue. The Vancouver Farr 30 fleet includes eight competitive boats and one-design racing for the Farr 30 is well established in the Vancouver Area Racing Council Annual Championship Series. Visiting boats will find a competitive and friendly fleet to test their skills against.
Protests In the event of a protest between a Farr 30 and a Howe Sound Regatta contestant, the protest will be heard on the same day after racing after being filled in accordance with the Race Instructions.
