- Have been an Associate or Active member in good standing for 2 years.
Moorage
Q - How long does it take to be assigned moorage? A - Moorage is in strong demand all over the lower mainland. The Club's prime location and attractive mooring rates are no exception. Moorage is assigned on the basis of seniority as a Club member and on the availability of slips to match your boat length and beam measurements. Recent experience has had boats under 25' be assigned in 3-4 years, boats 26'-29' in 4-10 years, boats 30'-35' in 7-10 years, boats 36'-40' in 8-12 years, and for boats over 40', in 12-15 years or more. Beam of boat is also an important factor in slip assignments.
Q - Are there any other options for moorage that the club is aware of? A - A syndictae of WVYC members is currently negotiating the member financing of some slips from 40' to 60' with the Mosquito Creek Marina in North Vancouver. This is not a club initiative, but you can contact the office or member Larry Achtemichuk

All members requiring temporary moorage should consult and have a clear understanding of the applicable rules published in the Club's yearbook and website. Inquiries are not taken by phone or electronically.
