West Vancouver Yacht Club is well known for its great hospitality, convenient location, fine food and beverage, leadership in learn to sail activities, safe moorage and excellent facilities. The Yacht Club has just over 700 members and has a number of outstations along the BC coast and in the Gulf Islands.

The West Vancouver Yacht Club was founded on the following values:

• Development and encouragement of seamanship and sportsmanship;
• Preservation of yachting traditions;
• Provision of shore and marine facilities for the use of Club members.
